
State’s unfunded pension debt exceeds trillion shekels

The State of Israel’s dedication to men and women with unfunded pensions has exceeded one trillion shekels, and stood at NIS 1,014 billion at the conclusion of 2021, up NIS 90 billion in a person 12 months. Unfunded pension arrangements have not been presented to new hires for the previous twenty yrs, but pretty much half those entitled to these types of pensions (43%) are nevertheless employed by the state.

Of the defense establishment pensioners, 25% receive monthly pensions down below NIS 8,814. 50% obtain about NIS 12,838, with the optimum 25% receiving above NIS 17,707 regular monthly.
