The Sumter School District Board of Trustees voted unanimously to pick out Dr. William Wright as the university district’s up coming Superintendent in a particular termed meeting.
SUMTER, S.C. — The Sumter University District Board of Trustees voted unanimously to pick Dr. William Wright as the faculty district’s up coming superintendent in a special termed assembly on Tuesday, May 17.
Wright will formally start as superintendent on July 1, 2022.
At this time, Wright serves as superintendent of Hertford County General public Educational facilities in Winton, North Carolina. He has held this situation since 2015.
Previously, he served as the superintendent in McCormick County Schools in McCormick, South Carolina, for two and a 50 percent years and as an assistant superintendent in Harnett County Faculties, North Carolina, for two yrs.

Wright has served as a significant college principal for 3 decades, a center school principal for three years, a center school assistant principal for 4 a long time, a substantial college assistant principal for one year, and a junior large faculty teacher for 4 many years.
Wright acquired an Ed.D. and a Learn of School Administration from North Carolina Point out College. He gained a Bachelor of Science in enterprise administration from North Carolina Wesleyan Higher education.
